Dr. Rivera-Rodriguez is the Chief Operations Officer for Optimus Health Care, Dr. Rivera-Rodriguez directs, plans, and coordinates the operating activities of the organization toward the achievement of established objectives for planning and managing patient care delivered by nurses and clinical support staff in clinical areas of Optimus and closely collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer to develop and ensure adherence to best practices to provide patient focused services and achieve quality patient outcomes. As Chief Operations Officer, Dr. Rivera-Rodriguez is responsible for the day-to-day operational activities with full authority in the absence of the Chief Executive Officer. She manages, leads, and supervise a multidisciplinary team and manages critical projects to carry out the vision of the Chief Executive Officer.
Dr. Rivera-Rodriguez has a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walden University, Master of Science in Nursing Education from University of Phoenix, Master of Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University, and she is Board Certified as an Advance Public Health Nurse and National HealthCare Disaster. Dr Rivera-Rodriguez has been a nurse over 30 years and has worked in several different healthcare settings, she has taught in Universities and Colleges and has worked in corporate America.
